The Loghouse

Kevin Gould (or more affectionately, Gouldy) built on a section of land in the quiet and relatively undeveloped seaside township of Matarangi back in 2002. Together with his family, he wanted to build a unique home away from home in which to enjoy fun filled weekends and sunny summer holidays.

Now, with his kids grown up and left home, Kev likes to share the beauties of Matarangi by opening his iconic beach dwelling up for others to enjoy through Log House Matarangi Private Hosted Accommodation and Personalised Getaways!

When he’s not hosting visitors to Matarangi, Kev runs his own Electrician business out of the small township of Paeroa.
